Concert and a cat...

Last Saturday we went to free concert out at the Wolf Pen Creek Ampitheater in College Station. It was part of their Starlight Music Series. The band this night was called Hotel California...and they sang of course Eagles' tunes. The weren't too great actually...but that may have been partly to blame on the sound system not working right. Sadly alot of people started leaving during them...we left kinda early too...but David was sleeping and Sydney needed to get to sleep too, so we left around 9:30pm...I had work the next day at 10am too. They are having these concerts through May and June too...I hope we get out there again. We might stay longer if the act is better. :) Below are a couple pictures from that night. You can't tell...but they Syd is wearing a glow in the dark necklace they passed out to the kids. She is also using a koozie (sp?) that was thrown out during the opening act as well. She LOVES the freebies! hehe.

Also pictured is our house guest Lil'G (stands for little Gig'em-because she was the spittin' image of my mom's cat Gig'em-deceased now too I'm sad to say). Lil'G belongs to my sister Mauri who is vacationing in Hawaii with Dale this week! She's been a cute addition, but our B**** cat Angel pretty much hisses at her and chases her around all the time. Angel prefers to be an ONLY cat. We have had to scold Lil'G b/c of her clawing our couches...but nothing is damaged (yet!). hehe. J/K Mauri...it's ok! We'll be taking her back this weekend to her mommy! She was trying to phone home in the picture Mauri...so you see...she DID miss you!! ;)
