Lots of Happenings...

Well, David got 3 teeth in a row before and during our vacation...so he is soon to be smiling with his 2 front teeth (finally)...and he's working on some molars I'm sure of it. Sydney started school on August 27th. She's got a great teacher this year and she's excited about the year. We also decided to adopt a dog friend for Mr. Weiner, because I think he's just lonely out in his yard. Our newest addition to the family is our Beagle dog Buddy. We kept the name he was given...it fits. Here's some pics. The last one is Buddy taking interest in our kitten Ruby. Ruby and Diamond are not afraid of Mr. Weiner and were often in the backyard just chillin' with him...but Buddy is not so used to cats and he's curious and goes up to them and chases them...but they can handle themselves pretty well. No injuries yet! hehe.

We have also had our share of illness and ickiness this past week too. Sydney missed Tues-Friday of her 2nd week of school due to major vomiting and fever. The MD said nothing appeared wrong, but she checked her urine and found that she had a bladder infection...now whether or not there was also a stomach virus involved we still don't know for sure...she said sometimes bladder infection can present with the same symptoms Syd was having. Hopefully she'll be back to her full self this week. David had an ingrown tonail that appeared infected...but it finally cleared up. He's also been having diarrhea the past 2 days and is definitely working on some more teeth...he is biting on things constantly...and slobbering all over us! hehe. He seems better today. I'm off Monday, so I'll be able to stay home with him if necessary. Here are a couple more pictures of David...playing outside in our front yard. He enjoyed the feeling of grass and checking out the leaves and sticks. We recently got to meet some of our neighbors who were having garage sales all on the same weekend. Sadly...after a year...we had only really known 2 sets...and one of them moved. The new neighbors next door have a 15 yo daughter and an 11 year old son. We might have a babysitting option out of the 15 year old...or so her mom mentioned. :)
