Happy New Year!

We took an end of year vacation...which also started off the new year 2010. On our trip we visited the San Antonio Zoo, the Riverwalk, the Tower of the Americas, and many things in between. New years eve day was spent mostly on the riverwalk...but we headed out of town for dinner. We were heading to Big Lou's Pizza, which Josh had seen on "Man vs. Food", but wouldn't you know they were closed...so we searched via our Tom Tom GPS for pizza...and found Jimmy's Pizza not too far away...and we barely made it before they closed. Pizza was great and the owner was super nice even though we were kinda in the middle of them setting up for a big NYE shindig. Then we went back to walk the river some more in all it's lighted glory, bought some silly new years light up toys for the kids...but headed back to the hotel as it was getting late. David and Mommy fell asleep...but got up about 15 till...just in time to wrap David up and get everone outside to watch the fireworks from our hotel parking lot. David woke up before it was over and said "Oh my gosh...it's amazing"...and we heard cheers all around as we sat and drank our champagne in our paper hotel cups and hugged our kids...HAPPY NEW YEAR!
