Mine is NINE?!!

Sydney's birthday is actually the 13th, but we had her party last Saturday (the 9th) at U-Paint it where you paint your own ceramic piece (lots of choices) and then they will fire it in a kiln and in about a week you get your project back. The kids REALLY seemed to like it...they all did a great job on their pieces...some were more meticulous than others, but that's cool. We kinda had to rush the cake and presents part I thought...but it was fine. Josh's parents brought along a couple of our nieces...Savannah who just turned 11 last week, and Eden (9 like Sydney). Josh's sister Amy and her son, Micah also made the trip. After the party we all went out for dinner at The Cotton Patch and then the girls (and Micah) went to Toys-R-Us for Sydney and Savannah to do some shopping for a few more presents. This was the BIGGEST turnout from Sydney's classmates EVER...4 from her school, 1 friend from our street, and 1 from last years summer camp program that has stayed in touch, and the cousins! Sydney got a Wii from Mommy and Daddy which has been keeping her busy this week. She got lots of webkinz and other cute stuff from her friends, and she bought some 4 wheel roller skates (the rollerblades have been put on the back burner for a while) with her Memaw money...I'm not sure the extra wheels help. hahaha!
