May vacation picture post....

So, I think I posted the vacation post over a month ago!! Here are a few pictures from our time in Fort Worth and Arlington. Finally.

Day 1 we spent at the Fort Worth Stockyards. Watched a cattle drive, played in a maze and petting zoo, and rode a train. David's favorite was probably the candy store with big barrels of candy.

That evening we met up with Cristina, her hubby David, and her son Jacob for some pizza/pasta dinner.

Day 2: we actually spent alot of time a the RV camp with an outing to the mall nearby and the bowling alley, then we met up with Josh's cousin and his family for dinner. No good pics to share. sorry...

Day 3: We had to get a trip into Six Flags while we were at it. We made that our morning destination, then in the evening we headed out for a Rangers ballgame...which ended in running for our lives from tornados and hail. (well...not THAT dramatic, but a little scary)

Their favorite ride, which they rode at least 6 times.

This was the sky around 4th inning of the Rangers-WhiteSox game...so we left to get to our car. As we did, it began to hail (freaking me out)...top it off...the tornado sirens started going off while we were driving back to our RV (!!) camp! Luckily it had a sturdy concrete bath house that we holed up in for a while for the storm to pass.

David found a big hail stone.

Day 4: Fort Worth Zoo where we met up with Josh's best friend from high school, Jim. Jim is David's buddy since the day he gave him the movie "Shark Tale"...so he was excited to see him again. I forgot my camera and made Josh go back for it...then after we got to the zoo...realized I had left my SD card in the computer. They don't sell them at the zoo, so had to buy a disposable. So not many good pics to share.

Sydney finally got one to land on her stick...then her hand...where it then pooped. yippee!

I just really liked this picture of my little chicky's wingspans! :)

Later that evening we met up with my college friend, Carina and her family who live in Arlington. They treated us to some yummy Chinese food at one of their favorite places.

Day 5: We decided to hit the Fort Worth Museum of Natural Science. They did have some cool stuff for the kids!

So many pictures...I tried to post the better ones...but that's all folks!
