My mom came up a day before mandatory evacuations in Brazoria County. We thought we might have lots more houseguests...but some went on to Dallas, while others weathered the storm in Cypress. All in all...everyone's houses turned out ok...just the typical branches and debris. My mom decided to head back on Monday after and stayed the night with friends for most of this week due to no electricity. Today she FINALLY has electricity and she has reported that the AC is on and the fridge is back in business. :)
