Well, Josh finished this semester and made a big decision. He is quitting his masters program. It was statistics (which he likes alot), but he has a history degree and most of the other students came in with BA's in Math or Statistics. He would have had to take alot more undergrad courses to catch up to their level...and he did not intend on being in school THAT long. He says to just admit it was too hard for him. I say...he also had to deal with watching the kids while I was working some of my later hours...which hurt him in the studying/homework department. He did have alot of free time during the days that he worked on his coursework, but we're talking problems that took 2 or more pages each!
So where does that leave us? Not too bad off...we have just decided that Josh should stay home with the kids for a while. Friday was David's last day at his daycare and they were all so sad to see him go. He's been with them for about a year...so they've really watched him grow up. Friday was also Syd's last day of Champions (her after school program). Sydney will start riding the bus home again. This will save us quite a bit of money...since we are still working on paying off my "school-days-debt".
He's still keeping his eye open for a job that suits him...so this may just be temporary. We'll see. Anyway, we are happy with our decision. Josh has always wanted to write (book,screenplay,etc)...so this may just be the opportunity that he needed.

Changes aren't always fun, but it sounds like y'all are at peace with everything, which is great!
