Our cat Arlo died Feb. 16th, due to his Diabetes (we can only guess). We were all pretty sad, Josh especially since he was the one taking the best care of him lately and remembering his insulin shots and sitting outside with him and petting him in the garage. Sydney didn't have the greatest bond with Arlo because (even though we had him before she was born) he was always terrified when she came around...he'd hiss and run. On his last couple of days he actually let Sydney pet him when she would be out in the garage with him. Well, we buried him in our backyard...the first of our pets to be buried here at our new home. We made sure to put his favorite toys in with him too. :) Anyway, the next week Sydney drew this picture. You may have to click to see larger version to appreciate it. It made Josh and I sad again because we saw that she was feeling sad about it still through that picture. Anyway...art can be a great outlet for feelings.Notice even the sun and moon are sad. Even baby David in my arms (I'm the middle figure) has a frown. Below is a slide show of Arlo pictures I've taken...
