Sydney had her first Orchestra concert last month. It was so cute to listen to them play their 4 simple songs. As I watched the intermediate and advanced orchestras play I felt excited and hoped that Sydney would be playing like them someday soon. I admit I was a bit sad that she didn't want to join band, like I did. Yes I was a band bob and loved every minute of it. Summer band, marching in parades and halftimes, concert and sightreading contests, marching contest. It was great. BUT, Sydney has her own personality and I feel like Orchestra really suites her. :)
Also in October, Daddy and David had a Camp-out overnight in our backyard. David was pretty excited...they fired up the fire pit for the first time ever...though it wasn't really very cold. Good father-son time.
